How to increase Credit score

  1. Most important payment is CREDIT CARD ; If you skip a credit card payment, it will adversely affect your credit score and eligibility for credit. In the AECB report, you can observe "30+", "60+", "90+", and "180+". In other words, you have not been paid the amount or your payment has been delayed by 30 days or 60 days, etc.

  2. Pay the instalment amount before 25th of every month , dont wait for the payment date .

  3. Paying more than your minimum balance every month will improve your credit score.

  4. Never cross 80% of the card limit , it will reduce score.

  5. You should not exceed 75% of the limit on a newly received credit card during the first three months

  6. Pay your mobile bill on time

  7. In case of a mobile connection being disconnected due to a payment issue, it is advisable to make small monthly payments until the outstanding amount is fully settled.

  8. You should never apply to any bank again for card or loan , if your score is less than 541 , otherwise check the bank card /loan policy with the team manger of the sales person who approched you for application

  9. Every new application for card or loan , minimum 20 points will come down . As a result, the score has decreased.

  10. Never allow to dishonor your cheques.

  1. After the loan has been cancelled or closed, it is required to obtain a clearance letter. Upon receiving the letter, it is crucial to verify its updated status with AECB. If it is not updated, it is important to request the bank to update it. .
